Sizes are a Guide Only!

Canterpants come in three sizes to fit horses and ponies ranging in height between 11hh and 17.2hh.

They are adjustable in height and are designed to be worn loosely fitted.  The straps on the Canterpants can be adjusted approximately 10cm in length.

The position of your rug's fittings will impact how the pants sit on the horse, so you should measure your horse with your preferred rug/s to check correct sizing.

Check Your Rug

You should measure your horse standing on an even surface, with the rug on.

Check you measurements from the placement of the existing rug fittings.

If your rug doesn't have a standard chest strap or standard leg strap D-rings as shown, you will need to sew these into your rug.
